Join the Churchwide Virtual Celebration

The Investiture of Presiding

Bishop-elect Sean Rowe

Nov. 2, 2024

In this historic and joyful season, we invite you to pray for guidance for our church and our new presiding bishop as he leads us in envisioning the reign of God in our midst.

Who: Everyone is invited!

What: The Episcopal Church will officially welcome the Rt. Rev. Sean Rowe as its 28th presiding bishop with a smaller, simpler investiture service aimed at reducing carbon footprint and increasing churchwide virtual participation.

When: Nov. 2, with a prelude featuring a “roll call” of dioceses starting at 9:30 a.m. ET. The service itself starts at 11 a.m. ET.

NOTE: The service starts 5 AM in Hawai'i.

We Blessed Our Pets!

on 10/4

On Friday morning in the serene Saint Francis Garden, Rev. Jenn shared her ‘paws-itively’ heartwarming blessings at our annual Blessing of the Animals.
All creatures great and small from bunnies, dogs, tortoises, koi, kitties, and more were included. It was a ‘purr-fectly’ joyful event as families gathered with their pets, cherished stuffed animals, and photos of their fur babies for blessings!

Handbell Music is Back at HNC!

Are you looking for a fun and meaningful way to make music together? Our newly formed Handbell/Chime Ensemble is open to all ages and abilities, and we would love to have you join us!

We will meet twice a month on Thursdays from 5:30pm to 6:30pm, starting with our very first rehearsal this Thursday 10/10.

No experience needed—just a willing heart and a love for music!

Plus, this Sunday is Family Sunday, and we’re inviting everyone to ring a bell in our special

ring-along!

Whether you’d like to come early at 8:30am for a little extra practice or simply join in during service, this is your chance to be part of something joyful and uplifting.

We hope to see you there!

Go Hawks!

Last Friday, before HNS went to fall break, the HNS Boy’s Basketball Team took on the HNS Faculty in an epic game.

The resulting tie was hard fought (by the faculty) and everyone had a blast. What a special community of learners we have been blessed with at Holy Nativity!
