Aloha Lorraine!

This past Sunday we said goodbye to our long time (18 yrs) organist, and dear friend, Lorraine Yamamoto. With lei and love, cake and fellowship, we wished her good luck!

We also wish to thank all the volunteers and contributors who made our Sunday Brunch for Lorraine such a huge success!

Pictured above, Holy Innocents in Lahaina was destroyed, but amazingly, the church sign, bearing a cropped copy of the iconic and now destroyed altar mural*, was left virtually unscathed.

Below a special message form Canon Sandy:

* The artist is Delos Blackmar. The mural was created for Holy Innocents in 1940.

The models for the painting were parishioners.
