THE BOOK OF COMMON PRAYER

Why do we pray for the dead?
We pray for them, because we still hold them in our love, and because we trust that in God's presence those who have chosen to serve him will grow in his love, until they see him as he is. page 862

Blessings to Rafael and His Family

Bob, Rafael, Fr. Chris and Bill

Mr. Rafael our Holy Nativity Maintenance Manager became an American Citizen yesterday. Today we celebrated with a special Flag Assembly.  Mr. Rafael led the students and teachers in the Pledge of Allegiance.  What special day for him and all of us.

Fr. Chris.

Kapuna Watch

The Best of HNS is Kupuna Watch! Kupuna Watch is a grass-roots ministry spearheaded by Bill Seeley, Bob Steele and other "elders" in the church community. Members of the congregation volunteer each morning to greet parents, teachers, students and other visitors to campus. Contact Bill Seeley for more information.

We at Holy Nativity have a 10AM Holy Eucharist every Wednesday at Monteiro Chapel. Please come and join us for a time worship and prayer during the week.
