Summer Happenings
Down on the Farm

Hello to all our past and present farm visitors! We know things have been hectic during these uncertain times, but the farm has been as bustling as ever especially as the warmer months are upon us. Spring has brought us so many wonderful surprises with baby lambs, calves and chickens and we can't wait to see what the summer has to offer! There are so many activities, events and attractions to explore at the farm, we hope you will be a part of it!

2-month old calf, Teddy
This year, we have
already welcomed our adorable lambs Rocky and Les to the Primrose Farm family as well as our two month old calf Teddy. However, baby season is not quite over yet! Stay tuned to the farm's social media pages as we anxiously await our Jersey cow Peach to have her baby within the next month. We also are expecting our spring baby chicks back very soon, and are looking forward to watching our farm family grow up!

If you are looking for some exciting programs to really immerse yourself in farm life, consider some of our Animal Adventure classes! We are still offering several of our programs such as Chicken & Egg, Hands on Milking, Hold Your Horses and so much more by reservation! Make a day out of your visit by signing up for our peaceful Goat Yoga morning class before heading into the chicken coop to collect some eggs to take home for the family! There is always something exciting to participate in at the farm and we would love to see you there.

Although there are no Farm Camps this year, we haven't forgotten about our young farmers in training! This summer we are offering several programs for our young farmers as well as the whole family! Join us in the morning or afternoon to help with our homestead chores on Family Fun Fridays. Accompanied by a Primrose farmer, you will learn the ins and outs of farm chores in this interactive program! If learning a new skill is more your style, consider signing up for our Family Blacksmithing class where an experienced blacksmith will teach you all the forging basics you need to begin your newest hobby!

This year we are offering some very exciting special events for adults as well. Our newest summer event Moosic & Brews culminates everything we love about the warmer months! Enjoy fantastic music and adorable farm animals as the sun sets in this exclusive event sponsored by Riverlands Brewing Company. Food vendors and brews are available for an additional cost for an evening that is sure to be a memorable one.

Whether you are stopping by for a program or event, or just visiting on a stroll this summer, we can't wait to see you this year! Be sure to tag us on Facebook or Instagram to share your exciting farm adventures as we embark on a jam packed season of fun for all ages.
