Important Parking Reminder
Please remember that parking spots on campus are reserved for faculty and Future Admirals. If you need to visit campus tomorrow, please park at May Day Park.

Nurse's Corner
If your child has any medical diagnosis such as a life-threatening allergy and/or asthma or if your child needs medication administration during school hours, please fill out these forms and return to the school nurse's office located in the Thomas F. Johnson Family Library. The authorization for medication administration form must be signed by the student's physician and parents. These forms are to be filled out with updated signatures each school year . Thank you for your assistance in providing the information so that we can meet your child's medical needs at school. Additionally, feel free to call or stop by the nurse's office to discuss any medical concerns you may have for your child.
Extended Day
Bayside offers an Extended Day Program to students in Grades PK–6 from dismissal until 5:30 p.m. Drop-in rates are available for those who do not need the service on a daily basis. If you have any questions, please contact Marilee Propst at or (251) 338-6390.
Supplemental Class Offerings for PK–6
Registration and enrollment for supplemental class offerings take place completely online. These classes occur during the school day but have additional fees associated with them. Beyond Bayside has more detailed information.
  • Dance is offered to students PK–6. (Ballet for PK–6; jazz for grades 2–6.)
  • Music is offered to students PK–6.
  • Mr. Steve Weiss—piano, guitar, ukulele, and violin lessons
  • Mrs. Amy Morgan—piano lessons

All Aboard! Daily Bus Service Available
Orange Beach, Foley, Point Clear, & Fairhope
Bus transportation to and from Bayside will be available this year at pick-up and drop-off points at the following locations: The Wharf in Orange Beach, Foley, Zundel's Landing in Point Clear, and Greer's in Fairhope. Rates are $150 per month per child.

YDL Sports
Registration is now open online for the following YDL programs:
  • Football
  • Flag Football: Grades 1 & 2
  • Tackle Football: Grades 5 & 6
  • If any fathers are interested in coaching, please contact Mark Lasseter or Jamie Ferguson. We still need assistant coaches for the 1st/2nd grade flag football teams.
  • All YDL football teams will practice and play at our sports complex on Highway 64. The first day of competition will be Monday, August 26.
  • Volleyball: Grades 3–6
  • XC (Running Club): Grades 3–6
Additionally, there is a YDL cheer opportunity for students in Grades 3–6. Please contact Ashton Crist with questions.
2019–2020 Bayside Directories will be sent home with each family's youngest child this week . Please be on the lookout for the directory in your child's backpack. Only one copy will be sent home. Additional copies may be purchased in The Shoppe on the Bluff.
Become a Bayside Booster
Become a member of the Bayside Booster Club! Bayside's Booster Club is a nonprofit organization that promotes and fosters character and skill development through the support of sports and other co-curricular activities. The Booster Club provides logistical, volunteer, and financial support for students who are committed to achieving excellence in the classroom, on the field, and in the community.
Picture of the Week
We are hoping to feature a different Picture of the Week submitted by a parent, student, or friend of Bayside in each week's Bulletin this year. These can be any picture that is Bayside-related: campus scenery, students in action, sports, etc.
