Texas College Celebrates 128th Anniversary |

January 9, 2022, signified a momentous occasion in the life of Texas College – the 128th Anniversary. Founded in 1894 by a group of CME ministers to educate a disenfranchised population, Texas College has served as a beacon of hope and opportunity for the East Texas region and beyond, providing educational opportunities for the past 128 years. Throughout February, Texas College will celebrate Black History Month with a weekly series of video vignettes that highlight the significance of the month. The presentations will feature a variety of historical figures and contexts that illustrate the importance of Black history. This series will be featured on the Texas College website, as well as social media platforms.
