High School Parent Meet and Greet
Food, family, fun
On Thursday, Sept.20th our high school students hosted an open house for their families. Each of the students had a part to play in the event. When guests walked in, they were greeted by the hosts and directed to the evening's activities.

Students presented a video they created about what they do at WCMC each day. (Watch it here) They also took great pride in serving the appetizers and dinner they prepared for their family and friends.

Participants then played games to get to know one another better and had fun taking pictures with all the props the decorating committee had gathered.

It was a blessed time where students, families and Wesley Chapel family were able to be in fellowship and grow their enthusiasm for the year ahead.

A note from STAR Club

My name is Brandon Brown and I am the STAR Club Coordinator for this school year!

A bit about myself: I previously worked on staff at Wesley Chapel in 2015. I always had fond memories of my time here. I am presently working toward the completion of my Bachelor’s degree in social work at the Northern Kentucky University. I plan to graduate in the spring of 2019 and will pursue my MSW in Clinical Social Work.

Thank you to everyone who has previously volunteered with us. You are truly appreciated here at Wesley Chapel. We are excited to start STAR Club again.

If you would like to learn more about STAR Club or if you are interested in signing up to volunteer please contact me at (513)721-6204 or email at [email protected]

Strategic Plan Approved!

The WCMC staff and board began working on a new strategic plan in March. At this initial full day meeting, we revised our mission and vision and formed committees to continue laying out plans for focus areas.

Over the following months these committees worked to align strategies, measures and tactics with the vision, mission and objective of WCMC. The board brought all of the work together to form the 2018 Strategic Plan which was approved by the board in August.

In a note finalizing this process, Vicki Moseley, WCMC board president, stated, "I thank God for what each of you bring to WCMC. We truly exemplify the body of Christ. We all have different strengths that make WCMC a Beacon in OTR. "

As WCMC executes the 2018 Strategic Plan, the core of our organization will be strengthened and our ministries will be enhanced. Our neighbors will benefit and God's Kingdom will expand.

To obtain a copy of the 2018 Strategic Plan, contact Vicki Moseley at [email protected] .

Once again, Sharon Mitchell led us. Thank you, Sharon!

A fun night out to support Mannequin Boutique
Mannequin is a hip women’s and men's clothing and accessory boutique, featuring upscale and vintage merchandise with all proceeds going to charity. "RENT" here refers to raising the money to run this charity boutique, so ALL sales can go to the 8 charities it supports. One of those eight is Wesley Chapel Mission Center. This will be the 6th and last RENT event as Mannequin is going from a brick & mortar to an online store, Etsy MannequinBoutique (therefore not needing to pay RENT!).
