Thanksgiving Program
Come feast with us as we thank God for the many blessings we have received.

Tuesday, Nov.20 at 4:00 pm we will be hosting a Thanksgiving Program concluding in a delicious meal for our staff, students, volunteers, and families.

Come hungry and ready to praise God, as each of our programs will have something special to share during the celebration.

The Joy of Service
One week in October our programs focused on Developmental Asset #9, serving others. Through this our K-3 students had a unique opportunity to serve their peers.
The class learned about Jesus humbling Himself to serve His disciples by washing their feet. Stations had been were set up around the room where students' feet would be washed by the teachers and volunteers. However, after the first child's feet were washed, she was asked if she would like to wash the next person's. After a short hesitation, she agreed to kneel before her friend and rinse her feet. To the amazement of our staff, each child then joyfully performed this simple act of service for a friend.
What sweet time of service they shared as they cared for one another!

September's City Barbeque Fundraiser brought in $223.31.
Our October fundraiser at LaRosa's Boudinot resulted in a donation of $64.72.
Breakfast of Light Update
A special thank you to all those who were able to attend this year's Breakfast of Light. To those who attended for the first time, not only do we want to say thank you but also welcome you to the Wesley Chapel Mission Center Family. We are excited to have you be a part of the work going on in Over the Rhine. You each contributed to making this the most successful breakfast yet and we can't wait to see what God has prepared for your gracious sacrifices.
Moving Day has come

After spending a year packed snugly together in our back room, the Wesley Chapel Staff is enjoying the space gained by moving our offices back to 70 East McMicken. This space offers us a better view of the street as well as makes our offices more visible to parents, volunteers and guests.

There were four volunteer teams that helped us make this happen and many hands made for much lighter work. We invite you to come check out our new space next time you visit!
Prayer Meeting

Each Wednesday at 1:30 the WCMC staff gathers together for prayer. Often times it isn't the entire staff but it is those who are hurting or pressed, those who are able to support and encourage that week. Burdens are shared for particular students or obstacles facing our programs. Whatever is going on in the lives of our staff is brought before our Savior's throne for a half hour each week.

We invite you to join us either in your own locations or in person as we pray for God's continued presence in the lives of our staff, students, volunteers and all of our Wesley Chapel Family.

Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving. Since its inaugural year in 2012, #GivingTuesday has become a movement that celebrates and supports giving and philanthropy.
This year Facebook and Paypal will be partnering together to match up to $7 million of donations. Although last year's match amount was significantly lower, it was used up within hours; so we encourage you to donate early. Matching begins at 8am and you can donate directly through our Facebook page.
