We can’t do any of this without our wonderful staff, who come in every day with a smile on their face to help our residents feel safe and comfortable.
We conducted an employee survey this week to assess the needs of our staff, and are working on ways to help make their lives easier while they’re at work and at home.
One pressing issue for our staff is concern about meals. Whether there’s anxiety about going to the grocery store, or concerns about bills, we never want anyone of our employees or their families to worry about where their next meal is coming from. We’re implementing a take-home meal program for all of our employees to bring them home at the end of their shift. We’re also opening a tab at our Garden Café and Bistro for our staff members to receive a meal during their shift.
Another need that employees are facing is childcare assistance.
Gilden Woods in Breton Village has agreed to partner with Beacon Hill to offer our essential workers access to immediate childcare. During the time of the executive order, Beacon Hill employees will have access to immediate, subsidized childcare.
