Oak Hill Middle School Introduces 2019 Cohort of REACH Scholars
Last month, five of our very best scholars from Oak Hill Middle School participated in the REACH (Realizing Educational Achievement Can Happen) Signing Day Ceremony. These scholars signed on to the rigorous commitment of achieving a college education. Congratulations to the 2019 cohort of REACH (Realizing Educational Achievement Can Happen) Scholars for Oak Hill Middle School: Emaleigh Burdge, Damonte Holsey, Zaela Primas, Bernasia Simmons and Aaliyah Stowe!

REACH (Realizing Educational Achievement Can Happen) Georgia is the State of Georgia’s first needs-based mentorship and college scholarship program. The mission is to ensure that Georgia’s academically promising students have the academic, social, and financial support needed to graduate from high school, access college and achieve post-secondary success. Beginning in the 8th grade and through high school, REACH Scholars are paired with a mentor and an academic coach. Scholars must maintain good grades (2.5+ HOPE Calculated GPA), behavior and attendance. Scholars who successfully complete the program and graduate from high school are awarded a $10,000 scholarship that can be used at a HOPE-eligible University System of Georgia Technical College System of Georgia, or private post-secondary institution. The scholarship is in addition to any other grant or scholarship the student receives.

Sign In to Infinite Campus Today
We have implemented a new online student information system, Infinite Campus, to better meet the needs of our staff, students and parents. The Infinite Campus Parent Portal will replace PowerSchool and will provide up-to-date information regarding students' grades, attendance and behavior. It also will serve as a means for delivering important messages or announcements from teachers and administrators.

Parents can create accounts by downloading the "Campus Parent" app from either the Google Play or Apple app stores and following the on-screen instructions to create your account. Parents can also  visit our website at  baldwincountyschoolsga.org  and click the  "Infinite Campus"  button under the "Parents" tab.  This process will require an activation key that can only be delivered to parents in-person. Parents should stop by their school's front office during regular office hours to get the activation key.

Students can also use the "Campus Student" app to keep track of their growth and progress. There is no need for an activation key for students as they simply "Log in with Google".

For more information about infinite campus and the parent and student portals, please visit our website at  baldwincountyschoolsga.org  and click the  "Infinite Campus"  button under the "Parents" tab.
