It is that time of year when Rainey Kids in our after school program get to share their projects from this semester with their friends and family. Please join us for any and all of the following showcases at Rainey!

• Community Arts Spring Finale, Saturday, May 6 from 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM
• Intergalactic Art Exhibition, on view May 8–18 from 10 AM–6 PM; Make & Take Community Art Activity, Thursday, May 18 at 4:15 PM
• Rainey Dance Academy, Around the World in 80 Pliés, Tuesday, May 9 at 5 PM
• Art Adventures, The Story of "Peter Pan" , Wednesday, May 10 at 5:15 PM
• STAGES, Bimwili & The Zimwi, Wednesday, May 10 at 5:50 PM

Thanks to all who made Glissando Par-Tee a Success!

At our Glissando Par-Tee on April 27, Rainey gathered at Topgolf with our community of dedicated donors, sponsors, and partners, and our 2023 honorees. Not only did guests enjoy a fun evening of golf and celebrations, but Rainey also raised over $55,000 to support our summer programs! Spotlight: The Growing Artist Passport Program!

The Growing Artist Passport Program is a new personal development initiative in our after-school program. Each month, students who want to participate set goals for themselves and work to achieve them. Students who reach their goals get a stamp in their passports and a special meal from a new country's cuisine. This month, our students "travelled" to Jamaica and enjoyed a delicious Caribbean feast!

Rainey would like to thank the local restaurants who have provided meals for our students: Gallucci's Italian Foods & Market, Aladdin's Eatery, Li Wah, and Unruly Jamaican Cuisine.
