Reynolds's Round-up
We had a great response to last week's call to share a new skill or talent learned while we have been sheltering in place. We will showcase them all over the remaining three Beehives.
Avani from Mr. Joanides's class has been very busy crafting. She put her new skills to work to surprise her mom on Mother's Day with an exploding gift box!
|
|
She also made this very handy craft box.
|
|
We are excited to see any new skills or talents you would like to share with us!
Chose one hobby, talent, or a new skill that is unique to YOU!
● Have you learned a new skateboarding trick?
● Did you teach your dog to juggle?
● Is your knitting groundbreaking?
● Surprise us with your new or hidden talent!

Our Staff Appreciation co-chairs,
Melissa Crow
and
Kristin Hutchinson
, went above and beyond again to celebrate our fabulous staff for Teacher Appreciation Week. In lieu of a staff luncheon, Amazon gift cards were sent to all the teachers and staff as a small thank you for all that they have done for us this year. We cannot say thank you enough to our teachers for keeping our children’s education going and guiding us through Remote Learning during this pandemic. The Home & School Club is also immensely grateful for Melissa and Kristin’s talents throughout the year in leading the Staff Appreciation Committee.

Feed Our Heroes is a campaign, led by our Los Gatos Education community, to supply free meals to local healthcare workers fighting the coronavirus.
The campaign has already raised money for over 2,200 meals, but more are needed. All meals are sourced from Los Gatos restaurants, providing local businesses much-needed support during these tough times.
A simple meal at the end of a long shift is well-deserved thanks to our healthcare worker’s dedication and service.
We hope you will join us and contribute to Feed Our Heroes.
Visit:
www.feedourheroes.org
All donations are tax-deductible and 100% of the funds go towards purchasing meals.
Feed Our Heroes fits alongside #FeedTheNeed BayArea, another local initiative led by the Los Gatos Chamber of Commerce. #FeedTheNeedBayArea provides meals for the most vulnerable Los Gatos citizens (seniors, displaced workers, low-income families), while Feed Our Heroes supports healthcare workers. Both campaigns are worthy of your support.
