2021-2022
From The Principal's Desk
Dear Blossom Hill Families:

We are continuing to spread joy through artistic expression with our latest collaborative installation in the office created by our students under the guidance of Mrs. Anderson, our district art teacher. This spectacular piece is comprised of Folk Art Flowers created by each child at Blossom Hill. The lesson involved in this creative activity included learning about Folk Art, as well as how to use and care for tools of the trade when painting. Please ask your child(ren) to tell you about their flower and their process of choosing shapes and colors to make their unique flower.

We are extremely fortunate to have Ms. Anderson as our district art teacher and to share in her passion for teaching, along with her endless talents and expertise.

Providing a strong visual arts program is part of our Strategic Plan ~ Objective #4 Academic Excellence/Curriculum & Instruction. Elementary students will have increased opportunities for creation of art in a “studio-based” art program with credentialed art teachers.   Our students are so fortunate to have more time and projects this year directly with Mrs. Anderson. The funding for this position is only made possible by you and your donations to the One Community LG Campaign.

The students, staff, and I deeply appreciate your ongoing support and the opportunity to celebrate the happiness that comes from expressing creativity, building cultural awareness, practicing and refining motor skills, and strengthening decision making skills.

In education together,
Lisa Reynolds

Los Gatos Little League's mission is to develop fundamental baseball skills, while positively reinforcing lessons in teamwork, respect, and sportsmanship, both in victory and in defeat. Correction: Yesterday the Blossom Hill Home & School Club sent out an email wishing our families a Happy Lunar New Year. The Chinese character on the diamond-shaped banner reads monkey/猴 and it should have read tiger/虎. This is the Year of the Tiger. Our apologies for the unintentional error.
