It was so wonderful getting to work with all the kiddos to create the hygiene kits for the House of Hope. As the bags began to fill up, it was truly impactful to discuss with the children what their donations were going to accomplish and for them to see the finished products. All of the lovely notes and drawings, so many done with such great care and thoughtfulness, will be an added treat…sure to bring a smile and fill a bucket. Huge thanks go out to Jean Choi, her partnership and her willingness to jump in and work on this project together, was invaluable! Additional thanks go to all the 4th graders who distributed collection bins and explained the project to our younger grades, Trista Bernstein and Nicole Duke for helping during the day, and Leighton H. and Emma C. who helped wrap up the day checking kits for completion and moving bins.

In the end, we were able to make 106 full hygiene kits in total for the House of Hope. Way to go Blossom Hill Honeybees!
