From The Principal's Desk
Dear Blossom Hill Families:

Music is in the air at Blossom Hill! Our third, fourth, and fifth graders have been working hard in their music classes, preparing for our first live performances in almost two years. Great gratitude to Ana George, Aryn Krijnen, Alyson Ancheta, and Corey Miller for their professional guidance of our students on their musical journey. Please mark your calendars so you don't miss these fabulous concert events:

December 7th from 8:30-9am -
3rd Grade Musical "Journey Into Outer Space"

December 7th from 9:30-10am - 4th Grade Ukulele Concert

December 10th from 1:30-2:15pm -
5th Grade Strings, Orchestra, and Choral Concerts

Please note that all of our concerts will be performed in front of our school office. Parents are invited to enjoy these shows from the drive aisle on Blossom Hill which will be closed to traffic during concert times.

These concerts are made possible by your contributions to One Community LG. Thank you to the Blossom Hill Home & School Club for funding our musical software licenses and ukuleles, and to LGEF for funding our music teachers.

Yours in education,
Lisa Reynolds

Food and Clothing Drive for Families in Need
Your family can "Bee the Source of Someone's Joy" this month by donating clothing, toys, household goods and other items for families who really need support during these winter months. The Home & School Club is partnering with Claudia Coffey, Sarah Cain and the Diocese of Monterey to meet the needs of families of migrant farmers in the Salinas Valley who need assistance. Please bring unwrapped toys, new clothing (of all sizes and genders), home goods, and non perishable food items to school between 12/6 and 12/15. Items can be left in bins at the school gates. Please contact Claudia Coffey or Sarah Cain directly if you prefer to make a cash donation. No cash or gift cards will be accepted at school.

Fun Fridays Needs Your Help!
Fun Fridays is looking for more family involvement. During lunch on Fridays, parent volunteers set up, manage, and put away yard games, quieter games (like the Jumbo Memory game), and often a craft or an art-related, service opportunity.

Over dinner this week, ask your child what their favorite part of Fun Fridays is. The kids have a great time! Please sign up here to volunteer if you can. You can volunteer for just one Friday or as frequently as you would like. (Please ensure your volunteer requirements are up-to-date by completing the forms here.)

Also, please email Fun Fridays Coordinator, Amy Gregor, mom of 1st and 4th grader, if you have any gently used yard games, light weight blankets, or craft supplies for donation.
200 Pounds of Candy and Counting!
Thanks to our Blossom Hill families and staff, we will be donating 200+ pounds of candy (and still counting) and keeping it out of landfills. Mrs. Despars will continue to collect cany up until the December break. Candy can be brought to the office. Thank you for your support!
Community Sponsor Spotlight
The Home & School would like to thank this week's Spotlight Community Sponsor, Los Gatos Elite. Los Gatos Elite is a new sponsor of the Home & School Club and we are greatly appreciative of their support of our community. If you would like to become a Community Sponsor, please contact Trista Bernstein at [email protected].
