Dear Blossom Hill Families:

As we begin 2022, let's "Bee Curious." We are excited to again hold our anuual Blossom Hill Science Fair. The goal of the Science Fair is to instill a love of the scientific method of inquiry in every student and promote a positive learning experience by giving students an opportunity to ask questions, solve problems, set goals, manage projects, think critically, and have fun. The Science Fair is open to all students at all grade levels. Registration begins next Wednesday, January 12th.

LGUSD Homework Policy Meeting
As part of the 2021-22 LGUSD Strategic Action Plan work, staff have been collaborating on a district-wide Homework Purpose Statement grounded in the Learner Profile Traits of Learner’s Mindset and Empathy. Please join Principal Reynolds and Misty Hartung, Director of Student Services, for a presentation, discussion, and feedback opportunity at the following upcoming January meeting:

Community Sponsor Spotlight
The Blossom Hill Home & School Club welcomes our latest community sponsor, West Valley Red Hawks Lacrosse Club. The West Valley Red Hawks Lacrosse Club is an independent, non-profit youth sports organization and a 501c(3) corporation. The Club was established in 2004 to bring the sport of lacrosse to boys and girls in Los Gatos-Saratoga-Campbell-San Jose area. We have established lacrosse programs for boys and girls in grades 1 through 8. We accept new lacrosse players at every level, and offer competitive A-Level teams at 14U, and 12U most seasons. Red Hawks families come from across the South Bay, including Los Gatos, Saratoga, Campbell and San Jose.
