Parent volunteers are needed to help with the Lunchtime Garden Club from 11:30am to 1:00pm on Monday, April 18th and Fun Fridays on Friday, April 22nd. Los Gatos Town is hosting their annual 'Spring Into Green Event' April 24th from 10am to 1pm on Main St. between Santa Cruz & University. Show your support for the Earth by riding your bike downtown to the Farmers' Market and then check out the various earth education booths. There will be a bike valet manned by the Complete Streets Commission to help keep your bike secure.
Safe Routes to School (SR2S) will have a booth offering free helmet fitting plus helmet and general bike information. Additionally there will be a Bicycle Course for young riders. They can use their own wheels or we will have balance bikes and scooters available to borrow. We are looking for volunteers to help man the bike course - shifts are for 1 hour and anyone 13 years old + can sign up to help us out.
