2021-2022
From The Principal's Desk
Dear Blossom Hill Families:

I want to express my appreciation to everyone who has so thoughtfully contributed a donation to our district-wide community service project to assemble hygiene kits for homeless individuals.  It is exciting to join together for the first time with the other elementary schools in Los Gatos Union School District to care for those who are less fortunate.

Tomorrow, all students will have the opportunity to help assemble the hygiene kits.  Classes will visit the MPR in groups of two and work together to build the kits and write a note to the person who will receive it.

I would like to offer a big shoutout of appreciation to our student leaders that did an excellent job visiting classrooms to explain the project and distribute the collection bins.  In addition, gratitude goes to Kristin Hutchinson, H & SC President Elect, for helping to coordinate the assembling of the kits and message writing.

On Friday, April 8th, the hygiene kits will be delivered to The House of Hope.

I am delighted to share that this work is directly aligned to our Strategic Plan Objective #3 Community & Global Citizenship and supports the development of the Student Success Profile attributes of Empathy, Collaboration, & Communication.

Thank you to everyone for participating, sharing what you have, and showing kindness and empathy to others.
In safety & education together,
Lisa Reynolds
