Volume 1 | Issue 2 | September 2019
MESSAGE FROM KATIE
I’d like to officially introduce our newest BID employee, Nicole Jordan, MSSA, LSW. Nicole graduated from Case Western Reserve University in May 2019 with a masters degree in Social Sciences.

You may already recognize Nicole since she was an intern with BID since September 2017 as a Dream Coordinator. In her second year placement with us, Nicole served in a leadership role with the other interns, helping train and assist them where needed, while also fulfilling dreams herself.
Nicole is originally from the Chicago area. She graduated from Slippery Rock University, PA in 2017 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology. While there, she maintained Dean’s list status, tutored and mentored other students and was also a research assistant where she learned many of the valuable skills she is applying to our impact research for BID.

Nicole has joined our team as the Dream Fulfillment Supervisor.  She is accountable for training and supervising Dream Coordinators, overseeing dream planning & presentations and Dream Impact Data management.

Please join me in welcoming Nicole!

Thank you, Katie C. Eichenauer, MSSA, LISW-S
Executive Director

Siblings, ' Tommy' and 'Caroline' are ages 5 and 6. They have experienced extreme poverty, multiple traumas, and are currently in foster care. Both children are working hard to overcome these challenges. 'Tommy' and 'Caroline' are taking steps every day to learn how to cope with what life has thrown at them. Neither has ever had their own new toys , only second-hand. Both children expressed their dreams to experience the joy of ripping apart a brand new box with a new truck or doll in it.
Help us show 'Tommy' and 'Caroline' that their community values them and allow them to experience the joy of receiving a new toy. Click on the button below to check our Amazon Wish List for 'Tommy' and 'Caroline'.
Frequently Asked Questions
“Why don't you share more details about the dreamers and what they've been through?"

"Why don't you post more pictures of dreamers on social media?"
Believe in Dreams works very hard to protect the privacy of our dreamers and their families. This may be due to multiple traumas experienced or ongoing safety risks related to a trauma that a dreamer has endured. We deeply respect the privacy of the families we work with and make sure that they maintain full ownership over their story and how it's shared. Continue Reading

Sometimes you have to believe in the belief others have in you, until your belief kicks in.
