SE Kentucky Mission Trip

November 5 - 8, 2025

We are heading back to SE Kentucky to work with our ministry partners! This time, we'll be packing Christmas boxes for kids in some of the poorest counties in America.

We'll be staying in a house that one of our past teams helped clean and repair. It's unfurnished, but the bathroom does work, so bring an air mattress and a towel.

Cost: $100 per person + money for food while traveling.

Applications are available outside Susie's Office and online.

Operation Christmas Child

National Collection Week is November 17–24, and Snyder’s Shoebox Dedication Sunday is November 23! Boxes are ready for you in the Gathering Hall and Cammack Lobby.

Take one home, fill it with gifts for a boy or girl, and bring it back by November 23. You can leave completed boxes in the Gathering Hall.

A way to display Christ-like love: Each shoebox is a simple gift that shares God’s love and brings joy to a child who might not otherwise receive one.

Candy Donations for Fall Fest!

Snyder Kid's Fall Fest is this Sunday and need your help! Please consider donating a bag (or two…or ten!) of candy to make this event a sweet success. Last day to bring in Candy is Sunday Morning!

Next Wednesday - Fall Family Dinner!

Join Snyder Kids for a not-too-spooky Halloween-themed Wednesday Night Dinner! Bring your family and friends for an evening of fun, candy, and connection. Kids will enjoy a special Halloween-themed meal, while adults will have the regular dinner menu. It’s the perfect night to celebrate together!

Children's Sunday during 8:40 Worship

November 2

Get ready—Snyder Kids are taking over the 8:40 worship service! Our children will lead in every part of worship, from greeters to running cameras, sound, and lights and singing in the choir. Come celebrate how God is working in the lives of our kids!

Parent & Child Dedication

November 23

Celebrate a meaningful milestone as families commit to raising their children to know and follow God. This dedication isn’t about a child’s salvation; it’s a public commitment from parents to model Christ at home. At Snyder, we’re here to support you every step of the way, helping your family discover God, develop faith, and display Christ-like love through faith-filled parenting.

Parent & Child Dedication Class will be November 12. Please Click the link below to sign up.

Grow the Tree!

Help Us “Grow” the Singing Christmas Tree!

Sunday, November 9 - Wednesday, November 12

It takes a team to bring the Singing Christmas Tree to life! From unloading and assembling the steel frame, to laying walkways, adding the wooden “skin,” building side platforms, and finally covering everything with paper, felt, lights, bows, and garland — every step is a group effort.

Help us "Store" The tree!

Tuesday, December 9 - Saturday, December 13

We need plenty of hands to help us deck and undeck the halls, so please consider a time to help us take down the tree to ensure we'll be ready for worship in the Sanctuary the following Sunday!

If you’d like to join in the fun, click below to sign up and be part of one of Snyder’s favorite Christmas experiences. Thank you in advance for your help!

Save the Date! Singing Christmas Tree Tickets become available November 13.

Deacon Recommendation

We are now accepting deacon recommendations!

Deacons serve a three-year term and are called to actively live out our purpose statement, “Leading people to Discover God, Develop Faith, and Display Christ-Like Love in our Attitudes and Actions”. They live this out by inviting friends to church, connecting in Bible Study, and are faithfully involved in serving at Snyder.

Your recommendations help us identify those who are living out God’s call in meaningful ways. Take a moment to recommend someone who models these qualities in their everyday life!

Submission Deadline: October 28

To submit your recommendations, click the button below!

Forms are also available at the entrances to the Fellowship Hall and Sanctuary on Sunday.

Called Business Meeting

Wednesday, October 29

6pm, Fellowship Hall

Join us for a presentation of the 2026 Ministry Budget. We encourage all church members to attend.

To be added to our Bereavement Notification list, please click the button below.

Thank you for your generosity!

Thank you, church family, for your willingness to give as the Lord calls you to. Your generosity with your time, resources, and prayers enables us to both support those in our community and send out teams to serve around the world, sharing the love of Christ wherever we go.
