Find Your Place: Snyder Connect Night is Coming August 23
There’s a moment that happens almost every week at Snyder — someone new walks through our doors, looks around, and wonders, “Where do I fit in here?” Maybe it’s a young couple looking for community. Maybe it’s someone who’s attended for months but has never taken the next step into a small group or serving team. Maybe it’s you.
That’s exactly why we’re kicking off this new ministry year with Snyder Connect Night.
What is Connect Night?
On Sunday, August 23, from 5–7pm, our Fellowship Hall will be filled with tables representing the many small groups, serving teams, and ministries that make up our church family. It’s a chance to walk around, ask questions, meet the people already involved, and discover where you might belong.
Whether you’re brand new to Snyder or you’ve been here for years, Connect Night is designed with you in mind. There’s no pressure, no sign-up requirements at the door — just an open invitation to explore.
Why We’re Doing This
At Snyder, we believe growth happens best in community. Sunday mornings are where we gather to worship, but it’s often in a small group, a serving team, or a shared ministry that faith becomes personal — where people are known, supported, and challenged to grow.
Connect Night exists to help every person take a next step in three areas:
- Discovering God — finding a group or environment where faith becomes real, not just something you hear about on Sundays.
- Developing Faith — growing alongside others who will encourage, challenge, and walk with you.
- Displaying Christlike Love — finding a place to serve and give of your time and gifts for the sake of others.
We know that getting connected can feel intimidating. It’s hard to know where to start, who to talk to, or whether you’d even be a good fit. Connect Night removes that barrier by bringing everything and everyone into one room, on one night, making that first step as easy as possible.
