Worship Choir

Sing with the Worship Choir Sunday, September 20, as they help lead in the early service.

There will be One BIG Rehearsal Wednesday, September 16, from 6:15–8:15pm in the Fellowship Hall. No prior commitment is needed. Open to all ages (children must be accompanied by an adult).

Hill Toppers’ Luncheon

Adults 55+ join us for lunch and “America’s 250th Birthday: The American Revolution in Cumberland County,” presented by Mr. Joseph Westendorf, Local and State History Manager at the Headquarters Library. Please NOTE the time change. The program will begin at 11am followed by lunch.

SWOP Bible Study

Join the women of SWOP as we study Jennifer Rothschild’s Heaven and discover what Scripture says about the place God has prepared for His children. 

Choose the time that works best for you:

• Monday evenings beginning September 14 from 6:30–8pm.
• Thursday mornings beginning September 17 from 9:30–11am. 

Both groups meet in the Parlor.

Great Smoky Mountain Train Trip

October 22—24 

Bryson City, NC

Adults 55+ enjoy 3 days and 2 nights surrounded by the beautiful fall colors of the Great Smoky Mountains! The trip includes charter bus transportation, 2 nights at the Sleep Inn, a first-class train ride through the Nantahala Gorge with brunch, and a visit to the Train Museum. We’ll also stop at Darnell Farms and enjoy shopping in Dillsboro.

• $420 per person (double occupancy)
• $552 per person (single occupancy)

Family Field Day

Join us for an afternoon of family fun, games, and plenty of laughs! It’s a great chance to spend time together, meet other families, and make some fun memories. Bring the whole family and come ready to play.

Family Camp

Camp Don Lee, Arapahoe, NC

We’ll spend the weekend at Camp Don Lee in Arapahoe, NC, a beautiful retreat setting along the Neuse River. Camp Don Lee offers cabins, meals, and a variety of outdoor activities for families.

Whether your family is sailing, playing outside, sharing a meal, gathering for worship, or simply sitting together and enjoying the weekend, there will be plenty of opportunities to make memories.

SE Kentucky Mission Trip

November 3–6

Cost: $150

We’re heading back to SE Kentucky to serve alongside our ministry partner! This time, we’ll be packing Christmas boxes for children in some of the poorest counties in America.

We’ll stay in a local hotel, with meals covered by each participant. Applications are available outside Susie’s office.
