The World of The End

Wednesdays, 6:15pm

Led by: Sandy Saunders

In a world of questions, now is not a time for cowering or complaining. This is our time to BE THE ANSWER!

Yes, we are living in troubled times. But all who claim the name of Christ also carry a calling to address that trouble as representatives of His Kingdom. We alone can offer the solution to a world in need, and this task becomes more and more important as we inch closer and closer to The World of the End.

Cost: $10

“Unless the Lord builds the house, its builders labor in vain.” — Psalm 127:1

As we step into 2026, I want to begin by expressing my deep gratitude to God and to each of you for the ways He has worked in and through Snyder this past year. Looking back on 2025, we are reminded that every good thing accomplished among us has been the result of God’s faithfulness and provision. It truly was an exciting and meaningful year—one marked by growth, obedience, and a renewed passion for the mission God has entrusted to us.

Through the tireless efforts of our staff, deacons, committee members, and countless volunteers, Snyder continues to grow in its calling to help people Discover God, Develop Faith, and Display Christlike Love through our attitudes and our actions. We have seen God move both locally and abroad, and as we step into this new year, we do so with expectancy—trusting the Lord to continue building His church.

Over my first five months at Snyder, I have been incredibly encouraged as I’ve learned more about the culture, history, and rich traditions of this church. I am deeply grateful for the warm welcome I have received and for the opportunity to serve alongside such a faithful congregation. One notable milestone from 2025 was the passage of a balanced 2026 Budget projected to end with a surplus. This was a significant step forward in stewarding the resources God has entrusted to us and positioning our church for long-term health and mission impact.

As part of our ongoing commitment to clarity and transparency, I want to share an important update regarding the weekly Financial Report published in The Bell. Through recent conversations and deacon meetings, it became clear that the current report—while accurate—often created confusion rather than clarity. After thoughtful review and discussion with the Finance Committee, staff, deacons, and other leaders, we asked an important question: What do we want these numbers to communicate?

Beginning in 2026, the weekly Financial Report will reflect three clear metrics:

  • Total Revenue Year-to-Date
  • Total Expenses Year-to-Date
  • Total Percentage of Contributions Given Compared to the Budget

This updated format is intended to provide a clearer picture of Snyder’s overall financial health, helping every member better understand where we stand in relation to the budget and the resources God has provided. Our desire is to communicate faithfully, steward wisely, and ensure that what we share reflects the true financial posture of the church.

The Finance Committee and I remain committed to strengthening Snyder’s financial foundation so that we can continue to pursue our mission—sharing Christ with others both locally and around the world—for generations to come. As Psalm 127 reminds us, our confidence is not in numbers, systems, or plans, but in the Lord who is building His church.

Thank you for your faithfulness, your generosity, and your prayers. I am truly grateful to serve alongside you, and I look forward with great hope and excitement to all that God has in store for Snyder in 2026.

God bless,

Mike Ramos

Thank you for your generosity!
