Snyder Midweek Is Coming This Fall!

This fall, we’re excited to launch Snyder Midweek—a Wednesday night experience designed to help families connect, build community, and grow in their faith together.

For many years, Launchpad on Sunday nights has been a meaningful part of Snyder Kids, and we’re incredibly grateful for the volunteers, leaders, and families who made it such a special ministry. As we’ve prayed and planned for the future, we believe God is leading us into a new season with an even greater emphasis on equipping families to follow Jesus together.

Snyder Midweek will offer something for every member of the family. Wednesday evenings will begin with an optional family dinner, followed by engaging, age-appropriate discipleship experiences for kids, children’s choir, and Bible studies and connection opportunities for adults.

More than just another activity during a busy week, our hope is that Snyder Midweek becomes a place where families are encouraged, friendships are formed, and faith grows together. We want to create an environment where children and parents alike are being equipped to live out their faith both at church and at home.

As we begin this exciting new chapter, Launchpad has officially concluded, and our Wednesday children’s ministry will now take place through Snyder Midweek.

We’ll be sharing more details soon, including schedules, dinner information, and everything you need to know before our first Midweek gathering this fall, September 9.

We can’t wait to see what God has in store and hope your family will make Snyder Midweek part of your weekly rhythm. We look forward to growing together this fall!

This Week

All-State Youth Choir

Next week, 10 of our Youth Choir Students will be heading to Campbell University to begin their week of All-State Youth Choir. Please be in prayer for these students as they participate in this fun but intense week of learning new music, making new friends, and growing in their faith.

Students attending are: Elizabeth Basie, Mary Basie, Raquel Brady, Mallory Collier, Addison DeVault, Sophia John, Connor Jones, Reece Jones, William Lake & Colt Livingston. These students also love to see familiar faces during their concert tour. You can check out the schedule and drop in on a concert (or two!).

Start Here

July 29 | 6—7pm

Parlor

Start Here is a family experience for elementary kids and their parents to explore what it means to follow Jesus. Together, families will learn about faith, discover the meaning of baptism, and have meaningful conversations that help parents guide their child’s spiritual journey. If your child is beginning to ask questions about following Jesus, Start Here is the perfect place to begin.

Bikes, Trikes, & Bubbles

August 5 | 5:30—7pm

Fellowship Hall Parking Lot

Join us for a wheely fun summer playdate! Bring your bike, trike, scooter, or ride-on toy and enjoy riding, bubbles, lemonade, and fun with friends. We'll decorate our wheels, cruise around together, and enjoy a relaxed time of play and connection. It's the perfect way to celebrate summer and make sweet memories with your preschool friends!

This event is geared towards kindergartners and under, but families are welcome to bring older siblings as well.

FAMILY NIGHT

August 12 | 6—7pm

Fellowship Hall

Join us as we kick off an exciting new year of Snyder Kids! We'll share the vision for the year ahead, highlight key dates, and equip you with practical tools to help disciple your child at home. Whether you're new to Snyder Kids or have been here for years, Family Night is a great opportunity to connect, ask questions, and see how we can partner together to help the next generation follow Jesus.

It’s not too late! You’re invited to participate in the upcoming Celebrate America’s 250th special combined church choir event on August 30 in the Crown Theater. You can participate by singing in the 11-church choir, attending the FREE concert with Snyder’s Orchestra and the 82nd Band, or becoming a sponsor—your business name will be listed in the program. GENERATIONS UPDATE

Renovation work continues to move forward! Demolition and abatement in the Sanctuary have been completed, and crews have begun framing along with the electrical and plumbing rough-ins.

In the Children’s Wing, demolition and abatement for Phase 1 are complete, and framing and the electrical and plumbing rough-ins have begun!
