There are many ways to use your gifts to make a meaningful difference at Snyder. From welcoming guests as they find their way, helping children discover God, to supporting worship and the message behind the scenes, every act of service helps create a place where people feel known, cared for, and encouraged in their faith.

Shaping Faith From The Start

Snyder Kids

Every Sunday, seeds of faith that last a lifetime are being planted. Our Snyder Kids team helps infants through fifth graders discover God’s love in their own language - through stories, games, music, and moments where they feel truly seen and valued. When you serve our kids, you’re not just watching kids; you’re showing them what Christ-like love looks like in action. You’re creating a safe, joy-filled space where kids can grow in their faith.

Contact Jen Rabon to join the Snyder Kids team, and help shape the next generation's faith journey!

Help Tell God's Story

Tech & Production

Behind every worship moment, message, and online experience is a team quietly serving with excellence. Tech and creative volunteers help remove distractions so people can focus on encountering God—whether in the room or watching from home. Serving in this area is a way to use your skills to support worship, amplify the message, and help tell the story of what God is doing in and through our church. No experience necessary - we’ll train you!

Contact Chris Kennedy to join the Tech Team and help tell God’s story.

Where Belonging Begins

Welcome Team

Each week, people arrive carrying different stories. Our welcome team doesn’t just greet people at the door; they open the door to community, to hope, and to a life-changing encounter with Christ. For the person walking in anxious, alone, or seeking something more, your warmth and smile can make all the difference. The Welcome Team helps people feel seen, valued, and at home from the moment they arrive.

You’re invited to help us display Christ-like love in the most practical, powerful way possible: making everyone feel like they matter, because they do.

Contact Sarah Mickle to join the Welcome Team and be the reason someone feels like they found a place to belong.

More Than Pajamas: A Lesson in Generosity

Sometimes faith is formed in the simplest moments, like choosing a pair of pajamas.

In January, Snyder Kids hosted a Pajama Drive, and while the pajamas mattered, what stood out most was who made the experience meaningful. Parents and caregivers took the lead, talking with their children about generosity, helping them choose pajamas for other kids, and explaining why caring for others is part of following Jesus.

Those moments matter more than we often realize.

When parents slow down to have those conversations, faith becomes personal. Kids begin to understand that generosity isn’t just something talked about at church. It’s something lived out at home, in everyday decisions. A simple trip to the store becomes a lesson in compassion. A pair of pajamas becomes a reminder that loving others can be practical and joyful.

Through the Pajama Drive, children were given a chance to practice generosity in a way they could understand, but it was parents who helped connect the dots. By guiding their kids, answering questions, and modeling kindness, parents did the most important work of all: shaping faith that will last.

This is the kind of partnership we hope for at Snyder Kids. When the church creates opportunities and families walk alongside their children, faith grows naturally and meaningfully. What children experience in these moments stays with them far beyond a single event.

The Pajama Drive was a beautiful reminder that small acts can shape hearts in lasting ways. Sometimes faith doesn’t start with a big moment. Sometimes, it starts at home… with pajamas.
