Giving Tree 2024

All are invited to participate in our “GIVING TREE”. As in the past, we received requests for items from

Catholic Charities Family Center, Birthright, Blessing House and Genesis House. The requests have been placed on Christmas tree ornaments and hung on the tree outside the Weigand Room. Parishioners are encouraged to take one (or more) of the ornaments,

purchase the gift, wrap it [unless otherwise noted] and place it under the tree. Please be sure to attach the tags securely to the packages so that they will get to the correct organization. This outreach program brings Christmas to those most in need in our community and is a great way of showing concern for one another. All gifts need to be collected by SUNDAY, DEC. 15 so they can be distributed in time for Christmas. ~ Thank You!

Adopt A Veteran for Christmas This Year

It’s been 11 years of giving the residents at the Ohio Veterans home gifts. Thank you for your continued support. It’s $25.00 to sponsor a Veteran and each gift is wrapped and hand delivered.

Free Christmas Dinner

Thank you to all those who helped make our Thanksgiving Dinner a success. We the dedication of many volunteers, St. Mary prepared over 500 meals this year. In less than a month we will be providing dinner on Christmas day. If you would like to assist in some way, please reach out to Joyce Snyder at 440.775.1967 or st.marydisciple@gmail.com. Senior Luncheon

Our next Senior Luncheon will be held

Miracle on Poplar & Gulf

This holiday season, Elyria Catholic High School embraces the spirit of giving and community through its 4th Annual Miracle on Poplar & Gulf, a heartwarming event set to take place on Friday, December 6, from 5 to 7 pm on the school's campus.

Sunday afternoon, December 1 - Family caroling event for our homebound parishioners of St. Mary and St. Agnes.  

Parent Club

Texas Roadhouse gift cards are on sale now through December 1. Orders with payment are due Monday, December 2. The gift cards will go home just in time for Christmas on Wednesday, December 18. Next meeting is Tuesday, December 10 at 6:00 pm - School Cafeteria 

Cougar Athletics

Basketball teams are practicing on Monday and Wednesday. Cheerleading practice will begin in December. Please sign up to support basketball games in St. Mary Gym. We'll begin hosting 3-7th grade games in December. Contact Kelly to volunteer and play - 440-941-5564 or cougarathletics@smselyria.org
