Beginning with this weekend’s celebration of Palm Sunday, we enter into the holiest week of the year. Many

see it as re-enacting the events that surround the passion and death of Jesus. We think back and remember what happened 2,000 years ago. As a result we do not understand the power and impact of the Holy Week liturgies.

Elyria Catholic High School presents tomorrow at Sacred Heart Parish

You have one more chance to pray with the Elyria Catholic students this Lent. Join them in Lorain at Sacred Heart Parish at 7 pm.

April 20, Easter Sunday FREE Community Dinner

St. Mary Elyria's FREE Community Dinner will be held on Easter Sunday, noon until 2:30pm, 320 Middle Avenue. All are welcome to join in the fellowship.

If you live in the Elyria area, you can request your dinner be delivered by calling our Parish office, 323-5539. Deadline is Thursday, April 17, 3:30pm.

Registration for the 2025-2026 school year has begun. Call the school between 8:00 am and 3:00 pm for information on how to register and how you may apply for a scholarship to help with your child’s tuition.
