The company is headquartered in the Portland metropolitan area. They are looking for an EHS Director. The Global Environment, Health, and Safety Director is responsible for leading Nike Inc.'s. Global Environment, Health, and Safety program. The Global Director will possess advanced knowledge of industry best practices, standards and regulatory requirements that includes public health, disease and pandemic preparation as well as occupational health trends. This person will lead develop and maintain the strategic framework for the company's Environment, Health, and Safety program designed to avoid or minimize negative impact to employees, consumers, business operations, and help ensure safety and continuity of operations in adverse situations. A Bachelor's degree or higher in Environment, Health, Safety, or related field of study is required along with 10 or more year's professional experience building and leading EH&S programs in a large, global company. Relevant Industry certifications preferred (examples include: CSP). Medical degree highly preferred.

The ideal candidate will support business by serving as subject matter expert in assigned region through interpreting regulations and providing guidance on the development and implementation of HSE initiatives.
