Dear Friends, 

 

I don't use the word "friends" lightly.  But after knowing some of you for nearly the entire 24 years that we've been in the catalog and online business, I hope you know that you very much are friends to myself and to our wonderful staff!

 

I started The Clean Team Cleaning Service in 1979-and that was after a 10-year stint at the phone company (how many of you remember that back then there was only 1 phone company?).  That's 42 years of work-enjoyable work because of you.  It's been fun to answer the phone and talk to you as I take your order.  We have been lucky because we so rarely have an unhappy customer that we feel blessed and slightly spoiled.  We've done our best to offer the best customer service and the best, safest, most effective cleaning products and cleaning ideas possible. 

 

I'm feeling the urge to do other things.  Luckily for you and for me, all good things don't necessarily come to an end.  There is a person that has been in the cleaning business for as long as I have and has a depth of cleaning knowledge that is as good as there is anywhere.  Her name is Debbie Sardone.  She is also a cleaning business consultant and lecturer, the founder of Cleaning For a Reason (providing free cleanings for women with cancer) and also an author.  She and her husband Steve have agreed to acquire The Clean Team Catalog and move it to Texas.  Nothing else will change.  In fact, all you California customers will no longer have to pay sales tax on your purchases!  I know you will be able to count on Debbie and Steve to continue to provide the products and the level of service that you are used to.  Please continue to do business with them.  I am available by email if you should have a question or comment.   (see Debbie's comments below)
