The Clean Team has gone through quite a few vacuums since 1979, and we've tried every major brand. The ideal vacuum--just like the Big Vac-- should:

HEPA Filter

A true H.E.P.A. (high-efficiency particulate air) filter will capture 99.97% of particles larger than 0.3 microns. (10 microns is as small as someone with good vision can see.) H.E.P.A. filters were originally developed to trap radioactive dust in atomic power plants, and they have since been put to use in removing microscopic asbestos particles from the air. Especially for those who are made miserable by allergies or sensitivity to dust, this vacuum will provide real relief. Your doctor may want you to take additional steps, but this filter is a great start.
