June 2026

The World’s Largest Diaper Drive™ Update

In communities across Ohio, families continue to face rising costs for everyday essentials and one of the most overlooked necessities is diapers. For parents and caregivers with young children, diapers are not optional. They are a basic need that must be met every single day. That’s why the World’s Largest Diaper Drive™ has become such a powerful annual initiative, rallying individuals, churches, schools, and organizations to come together in support of families in need. This year, we need to extend the drive into the month of June so more diapers can be collected and more moms and babies can be helped.

The end of May was the original deadline, but the World’s Largest Diaper Drive™ has generated such amazing momentum that we’ll need a couple of more weeks to allow for all the participation. The World’s Largest Diaper Drive™ has always been about increasing public awareness and the extra time will allow that to continue to expand.

There are also practical reasons why a June extension makes sense. Summer often brings changes in routine for many families. School-year support systems shift, childcare arrangements evolve, and expenses can rise. For families with young children not yet in school, this season can increase financial pressure. Continuing the diaper drive through June helps ensure that community support aligns with these real-world challenges, providing relief when it is needed most.

Additionally, the extended timeline offers fresh opportunities for involvement. Businesses that may have missed the initial campaign window now have a chance to participate. Community groups can organize late-spring collection events, leveraging outdoor festivals, farmers markets, and neighborhood gatherings as donation points. Employers can use this extended period to host workplace drives or matching campaigns, multiplying the impact of employee contributions. Even individuals can take advantage of the extra time to organize small drives among friends, families, or social networks.

Another key benefit of extending the drive is the ability to sustain momentum. Rather than ending abruptly, the campaign evolves into a longer, more inclusive effort one that invites continued participation and reinforces the message that helping families is not a one-time action, but an ongoing community commitment. This sustained visibility keeps diaper need at the forefront of public awareness and encourages a culture of giving that extends beyond a single campaign.

Of course, the success of this extension depends on continued community involvement. Every donation matters. Whether it’s a single pack of diapers, a bulk contribution, or a financial gift that allows organizers to purchase what’s most needed, each act of generosity helps ensure that babies stay clean, healthy, and comfortable and that parents feel supported rather than overwhelmed.

As we move into June, the message is simple: there is still time to make a difference. The World’s Largest Diaper Drive™ is more than a collection effort; it is a demonstration of what a Ohioans can achieve when they come together with purpose and compassion. By extending the drive, we are not just adding days to the calendar we are expanding hope for families who need it most.

Now is the moment to step forward, give generously, and help ensure that every child has access to something as essential as a diaper.

A Little competition pays off in a Big way!

With the help of some of our SUPER SUPPORTERS two of the largest diaper drives for The World's Largest Diaper Drive 2026 provided over 70,000 diapers to families in need! St. Brigid of Kildare and Bishop Watterson High School were in competition to see who could collect the most diapers and St. Brigid inched in for the win! They are both winners on our book! We love their enthusiasm and kindness!

1. It Makes You Feel Like a Really Good Human

Let’s be honest, helping others is the fastest way to put a little spring in your step.

2. Your Heart Gets a Workout

Forget cardio, compassion burns calories too (probably…don’t fact-check that).

3. Karma Is Always Watching

Charity has a long memory and good receipts.

4. Instant Mood Booster

Helping someone else is like hitting the “feel-good” button.

5. Because the World Is Already Weird Enough

Why not make it a little kinder while we’re all figuring things out?

6. Someone Is Always Watching

Kids, coworkers, your neighbors.

7. Money Isn’t as Cool as You Think

You can’t hug your bank account…but you can use it to help someone, which is way cooler.

8. You Might Accidentally Change a Life

No pressure, but your small act of kindness could be someone’s “turning point”.

9. It Makes You Smarter (Emotionally)

Helping others builds empathy.

10. Because One Day, It Might Be You

Life happens. Today you give the help—tomorrow you might need it. Consider charity as a group project.

Special thank you to our volunteer Melissa Tipple and Double Edge Brewing Company for hosting an event for us in May! You can never go wrong when community comes together for a great mission!
