Dr. David Hume

We are excited to welcome Dr. David Hume, historian and author, from Ireland, who will be here on Monday, June 9 and Tuesday, June 10. A video team will accompany him on this visit. They are here to do a documentary following John Witherspon’s journey from Belfast to Charleston to Kingstree. John Witherspoon is the original founder of Williamsburg Presbyterian Church. He and his team plan to visit the Indiantown Presbyterian Church and community, our museum, Thorntree, Witherspoon and Williamsburg cemeteries. Their visit will conclude at our church on Tuesday afternoon. Dr. Hume will present a program at 7:30 pm, on Tuesday, June 10, in Grace Hall. Everyone is invited.
