The Bingo Long Traveling All-Stars & Motor Kings
Showing June 26 at the Carrie Blast Furnaces
Step up to the plate and slide into summer!
Rivers of Steel is excited to present The Bingo Long Traveling All-Stars & Motor Kings at the Carrie Carpool Cinema.
Originally released in 1976, the film is set in 1939 and follows the fictional antics of Bingo Long and his barnstorming Negro League baseball team. Both highly comedic and dramatic, the film has a star-studded cast, including Billy Dee Williams, James Earl Jones, and Richard Pryor.
To celebrate Homestead’s own connection to the evolution of the various Negro Leagues—and the Homestead Grays’ origins as an industrial team—Rivers of Steel welcomes residents of Homestead, West Homestead, Munhall, Rankin, and Braddock to attend the movie screening at the Carrie Blast Furnaces, offering a Buy One, Get One Free* promotion for this special screening on Saturday, June 26th. Doors open at 8:00 p.m. and the film starts at 9:30.
*Use the discount code GRAYS at checkout. For every full price ticket purchased, a second admission is discounted. Please note: The $3 per person Conservation Fee is still applicable.
