February 27, 2026 Volume 3 - Issue 27

Dear Saint Families and Friends:

It is not just about giving up our favorite food but it’s about going further and giving up things like hatred and unforgiveness. You need to clean your heart and prepare yourself for purity.”

-Amanda Jobs

Greetings from Berks Catholic! Happy Lent! Whether we like it or not, we are flawed people. We constantly make mistakes and need to reorient ourselves to God. The beginning of Lent is certainly a time when we can give extra focus to replacing attitudes and behaviors that are not worth keeping. Lent is a time to consider where we have turned away from God and from his commandments. Lent is also a time that allows us to make a prayerful shift away from these negative behaviors. Let us all make a conscious effort to change our hearts when needed and turn toward the open arms and love of God. It will make a dramatic difference in our lives. Have a great weekend!

It’s a great day to be a Saint!

A Time to be BOLD!
