Dear Saint Families and Friends:
“During these 40 days, let me put away all my pride. Let me change my heart and give up all that is not good within me. Let me love God with all that I am and all that I have.”
-Genesis Grain
Greetings from Berks Catholic! Happy Lent! Self-reflection is an ancient practice of the Church. When one does this, it’s a bit easier to see each moment from that time period you are reflecting upon. Do you like what you see? Have you tried to make changes in your life? If not, Lent provides us with the opportunity to experience the Lord’s loving presence and thank him for a good life. We can call upon him for help and ask for forgiveness during this time of repentance. Jesus is there for us as we struggle and as we celebrate. When we are facing tough situations or trying to change our heart, the best thing to do might be to admit our weak points and turn to God for help. Have a great weekend!
It’s a great day to be a Saint!
A Time to be BOLD!
