March 27, 2026 Volume 3 - Issue 31

Dear Saint Families and Friends:

“While the world changes, the Cross stands firm.”

-St. Bruno

Greetings from Berks Catholic! Happy Lent! As we get ever closer to Good Friday, we remember the loving sacrifice that Jesus made for us. We believe that by his Death and Resurrection, Jesus won eternal life for us. Our faith tells us that without the Cross, we would not one day conquer death ourselves. This time of Lent allows us to reflect upon the need for the Cross, for prayer, for good works and for gratitude. As we approach Holy Week, may we all take time to show that gratitude for all that God has given us and for the Light that the Resurrection will bring to us on Easter Sunday. Prayers for a special Holy Week. Have a great weekend!

It’s a great day to be a Saint!

Easter Break

School will begin Easter Break at the close of the day on Wednesday, April 1st. Students and staff will return to school on Tuesday, April 7th.

Kairos XXVII Retreat

Kairos XXVII, our second Kairos Retreat of the year, took place last week at Malvern Retreat House with 28 Saints making the retreat. Kairos is a Greek word which means “God’s time.” During the retreat, the students had the opportunity to listen to speakers, to grow closer to God, experience the sacraments, develop new friendships with fellow students and participate in small group discussions. This sacred time and experience is a highlight for many of our Saints during their high school career. The next Kairos Retreat will take place next school year in November and will be open to members of the Class of 2027.
