A Message from Dr. Hilton
Dear Bradfield Families,
I hope everyone enjoyed a fun-filled Spring Break! It’s always nice to tap the reset button and get ready for a strong finish to this school year.
Prior to Spring Break, we had lots of festivities and celebrations at Bradfield. I hope everyone was able to attend this year’s Open House. It was great to see all of our Broncos so excited to share their work with their loved ones. A special thank you to our Art Teacher, Ms. Cromley, and PTA Art Show Chair, , Ashley Cole, Brittain Ewert and Shannon Young, for organizing such a wonderful event. The masterpieces were just precious!
It was also hard to miss the excitement of Bradfield’s 2nd grade musical, Bugz. If you weren’t able to stick around to see it, you missed an outstanding performance. Thank you, second-grade teachers, Ms. Fischer, Mrs. Jones, Ms. Ulrich, and Ms. Lundstrom, for a fabulous event for all of our families.
| | | Thank you to our wonderful PTA for always going the extra mile to take care of the Bradfield staff. Not only did they provide a delicious dinner for staff members who hosted Open House, but they spread an enormous amount of sunshine before we left for Spring Break. Thank you for making us feel extra special and appreciated! | | Finally, I would like to congratulate Bradfield’s Teacher of the Year, Caroline Anthony, and Paraprofessional of the Year, Kristen Schweiger. Both of these wonderful ladies are dedicated, exemplary educators, and they bring so much joy and sunshine to our amazing campus. | | |
I hope everyone is having a fantastic day, and I will see you on the front steps tomorrow morning.
Kindly,
Dr. Aimee Hilton

A Message from our PTA President, Kamela Aboussie
Dear Bradfield Families,
Happy Spring Break! I hope you all enjoyed this well-deserved break, whether you traveled far or enjoyed a change of pace in Dallas. I always feel Spring Break comes at just the right time in the year. It’s the last big refresh before the final stretch! Admittedly, I’ve had to tell myself more than once in recent moments of fatigue to finish strong this year. This week was lifegiving in that way for me, and I hope it was for you, too!
We are three weeks away from Bradfield’s Centennial Week celebrations, and all our planning is in full swing. Our most recent project, the Centennial Decades Display “Bradfield Once Upon a Time” had my whole heart! It was such fun digging around to find the history of our school, neighborhood and city. I read through old yearbooks, scrapbooks, and exchanged calls and emails with former PTA parents and students. Conversations with former families were the best, they were so excited to jog their memory because Bradfield memories are the sweetest! I also loved reliving some favorite memories from our childhood like Super Bowl wins for the Cowboys, movies at The Village Theater and dinner at Patrizios!
I would be remiss to not mention the help of two moms who certainly did not sign up for the job, but willingly (and with great enthusiasm) embraced the chance to share their artistic talents. Brittani Frankowiak and Ashely Reid were a large part of bringing the decades display dream to life, and I am so grateful! If you can make it up to school this month to walk through the display, I think it’s worth it! And in case you cannot, below HERE are some Bradfield highlights from the display.
Enjoy these last few hours of Spring Break and summer weather, and I’m wishing you all a wonderful week back in action!
Love,
Kam

It’s time for the annual Change for Children campaign at Bradfield! Change for Children is a simple but powerful program that supports Children's Health and teaches our children the importance of giving back to their community. All change collected directly supports the Pet Therapy program at Children’s Medical Center Dallas.
This year, the Change for Children campaign will run from March 23 – 27. Students will return coin boxes the following week.
Official Change for Children coin boxes will be coming to you via take home folders. We encourage kids to come up with creative ways to collect change from family, friends and neighbors!
