A Message from Dr. Hilton

Dear Bronco Families,

We had a great start to the school year!  Seeing all of the students and families back in the building brought such joy! I am always excited for the first day, as it brings new beginnings such as new students, teachers, friendships, and learning. I can already tell this year is going to be great!  Our Broncos quickly learned the procedures, expectations, and routines.  I am so proud of their hard work, positive attitudes, and caring hearts. Way to go, Broncos!

Thank you for preparing your children so well for the return to school — whether it was making sure they had the right supplies, supporting new routines at home, or simply encouraging a positive mindset. Your efforts make a big difference.

As we move forward, please continue to stay connected. Check our website, newsletters, and communication platforms for updates, upcoming events, and opportunities to get involved. We’re excited about what’s ahead and look forward to a year filled with growth, discovery, and success for every student.

Finally, THANK YOU to all of our volunteers. Our PTA, PTA Board, and Dads Club have been working tirelessly behind the scenes to help kick off the year successfully.  We are so thankful for you all.

I hope you all are having a wonderful weekend, and I will see you on the front steps on Monday.

Kindly,

Dr. Aimee Hilton

REMINDER: *Important* for your safety!

Parents and students on foot should *only* cross Southern at the crosswalk. Please do not cross in the middle of the street.

A Message from our PTA President, Kamela Aboussie

Dear Bradfield Families,

We made it! The anticipation of school starting is always both exciting and daunting, and feels a little to me like ripping off a bandaid. I hope you’re all feeling the relief that we can still wake up early, get breakfast fed, children dressed and through the doors of Bradfield (quasi) on time. We are still working on bedtime at our house. Fingers crossed. I’m always thankful the first “week” is only three days, and hopefully everyone enjoyed a well-deserved weekend to catch your breath.

My letter this week is a thank you to everyone who showed up in many ways over the summer and in the weeks leading up to school. I mentioned in a PTA email last month that PTA doesn’t stop for the break, and a handful of jobs are concentrated over the summer. And while this summer was more difficult than usual, each of you dug deep to pull efforts together and fulfill your important work. The list of volunteers below is long, but please take a read through and send them an extra thank you when you see them!

Another special thank you goes to two local companies who donated tributes in honor of Lila and Eloise. Social Llama gifted the sweet wooden yard hearts, and Texas Land Care donated and planted the pretty pink and purple flowers in our new terracotta front porch planters!

I also want to thank our Bradfield family as a whole for coming back to school with such enthusiasm and optimism. I overheard and received the sweetest comments this week about how excited you are and about how much you adore our school and our friendships. Thank you for your kindness!

With love,

Kamela
