RCN Technologies for the grand opening of its newly renovated headquarters in downtown North Knoxville for a ribbon cutting ceremony and celebration afterwards. The event is May 23 from 3:30-8 p.m. at 200 Jennings Ave., in Knoxville. The ribbon cutting kicks off the festivities at 3:30 p.m. followed by office tours, local craft beers, wine tastings, give-aways and networking.

ADA WEBSITE COMPLIANT MEETING
 Is your website ADA compliant to meet the needs of those with disabilities? Join Design Sensory's Josh Loebner on May 24 from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at the Blount Partnership (201 S. Washington St., Maryville) as he
discusses Advertising, Disability and the Diversity Directive. This workshop will educate in an easy-to-follow yet engaging style on the size, scope and buying power of minorities and in more detail, that of people with disabilities, the largest minority group in America. It will bring powerful stories and examples of the transformation of portrayal and inclusion of people with disabilities in advertising. It will elevate the presentation with ideas on how attendees can increase connections with diversity and inclusion in their work and community engagement.

SIGN UP FOR THE LATEST SOFT SKILLS CLASS
 It's Your Career! That's the focus of a free soft skills session offered in partnership by the Blount County Public Library, the Adult Education Foundation of Blount County and the Blount County Chamber of Commerce.
Registrations are currently being accepted online at
www.blountchamber.com for a class entitled Building A Team on May 31. All participants will earn .5 CEUs per session for participating. They will also receive an email survey two months after workshop participation to assess application of new ideas.
All classes are conducted in the Blount County Library's learning lab located at 508 N. Cusick in Maryville and limited to 50 participants. A complete class description is located on the registration site. All classes run from 8-10 a.m. with networking beginning at 7:30 a.m.
