When the Western Beef grocery store on West End Avenue closed early this year it was a blow to local residents, who lost access to affordable food. A new store, Brooklyn Fare, is now opening in the same space, and Assemblywoman Linda B. Rosenthal invited our Lincoln Square Neighborhood Center staff to join her and others in touring the store and giving feedback on our members' needs.
