Winter Reading Challenge

January 2 - February 15

Bundle Up With Books

Cozy up with a book in your favorite nook! Grab a blanket, your fluffy socks, your favorite warm drink or snack and log your reading to earn wintery badges throughout the challenge.

Participants will log their reading minutes on Beanstack, our online reading tracker or paper logs, which may be picked up beginning on January 2. All logged minutes will be calculated into the total. Please help us reach our goal of 50,000 minutes by February 15. Prizes will be awarded to randomly selected eligible readers in these age categories:

Birth to age 5
Kids (Ages 6 to 11)
Teens (Ages 12 to 18)
Adults (Ages 19+)

Change to Digital Resources

Starting January 1, 2025, Kenosha County Library System, which includes Community Library and Kenosha Public Library, will no longer subscribe to Hoopla. We will continue to provide access to Libby and OverDrive, which offer a wide variety of eBooks, audiobooks, and more. More information is available here.
