Class Placement for the 2020-21 School Year
Dear Boone Parents,

It’s time to begin thinking about planning for the 2020-2021 school year. As students transition from one grade level to the next, and from one campus to another, parents naturally begin to think about class assignments. In determining class placement, we aim to meet the needs of each student and provide an optimal learning environment for all. Though it will be a challenging task, great care will be taken to ensure that learning environments are equitable. Although we will be a brand new school, we will have information about each of our students to help us make class placement decisions. We will be receiving input from each child’s current teacher, as well as test scores and other academic data. If, however, your child has special academic or emotional needs, and you feel that a specific learning environment ( not a specific teacher request ) is absolutely necessary, or you have other valuable insight regarding your child’s class placement, I invite you to submit the optional Parent Input Form .

Our entire Boone staff is exceptional, and each and every teacher will provide your child with an outstanding education as well as the social emotional support he/she needs. Thank you, in advance, for trusting in the process of placing your child in the most appropriate classroom. I assure you we will be diligent in our efforts to ensure your child has an outstanding school year. Go Boone Bulldogs!

Sincerely,
Amanda Reyes
