Back to School Information
For students who have chosen in-person learning for the first 9 weeks, teachers will email parents beginning August 18 to sign up for a time slot to meet their teacher. There will be four to five 15-minute time slots per grade level. There will also be one time slot to meet the teacher virtually for those who are unable to attend in person.

Parents will not be permitted inside the building; however, there will be designated areas for you to wait safely outside.
Students who have chosen virtual learning for the first 9 weeks will also have a chance to meet their teacher virtually August 20 or 21. More information will be coming from your teacher soon.

For additional information about the back to school plan, please review the District communications if you have not already done so.

Need to borrow an HPISD device?
If you need to borrow a device for your child to participate in remote learning or emergency school closure, please complete the Device Acknowledgement form to check out a device. If your child attends in person when classes resume, the device must be returned at that time.

The deadline for these requests is 5pm Tuesday, August 11.
Newcomers Orientation
If you are brand new to HPISD, we would love to help you get acquainted! If you attended Roundup in February, this meeting will cover very similar information.

This year, the meeting will be held via a virtual livestream.

If you'd like to submit questions ahead of time to be addressed, please fill out this form.

It's not too late to contribute to Family Giving!
If you did not contribute to Family Giving in BSSU, you can now do so on our website at

Without the support of our wonderful families, Boone would be without many of the programs, staff, and materials that lead to a top tier education. For more information about why we fundraise and where the money goes, as well as the benefits available to those who give, click here.
  • Give ANY amount to receive a special 2020-21 bumper sticker.
  • Give $2,500 or more to be included on our permanent legacy wall at Boone. This is a one time only opportunity!
  • Most importantly, give to improve the educational experience of your student(s) and to provide our teachers with the resources they need.

Family giving is also open to grandparents and community members who would like to support our school, so please pass the link above on to anyone who would like to contribute.

Contributions must be made by August 31st in order to receive printed recognition.
