Have you obtained your Wellness Credit yet? Deadline is August 18th!
The County of Orange Employee Wellness Program, Your Pathway to Wellness (previously OC Healthy Steps) is designed to support you year-round in all avenues of wellness: emotional, physical, financial and environmental/social.

Do I need to earn the 2023 Wellness Credit?
Click here to read the Wellness Credit eligibility details and learn what groups are exempt and will automatically receive 2023 Wellness Credit if they enroll in Cigna Choice, Cigna Select, Kaiser or Wellwise for 2023.

Even if you are exempt from earning the 2023 Wellness Credit, all employees eligible for a County health plan may access all of the activities and interactive tools the WebMD portal offers to help keep you healthy!

What is the Wellness Credit?
The Wellness Credit is equal to 5% of your health plan premium. For 2022, employees who completed their activities last year are paying between $13 to $53 less per pay period (an average of about $850.00 annually), depending on the health plan and number of dependents they have enrolled.

Don’t Delay…Earn the 2023 Wellness Credit by August 19, 2022
Now that you have confirmed you are not exempt, go to https://www.webmdhealth.com/countyoforange and complete the three activities to earn the 2023 Wellness credit:
  • Take the online Health Assessment (HA) and review your results.
  • Complete the online Non-Smoking Attestation (NSA), even if you’re not a smoker or are trying to quit. This is found under the “Wellness Credit” tab.
  • Complete a Biometric Screening. Click on the “Biometric Screening” card on the portal homepage to select a screening option that works best for you.
  • Before August 19, 2022, go to https://www.webmdhealth.com/countyoforange to confirm that you’ve completed all three activities by verifying they all display a green checkmark on your Wellness Credit tab.

With the approval of your supervisor, you are permitted to use a reasonable amount of time (average 20 minutes) to complete the online HA and NSA and an additional 30 minutes to complete your Biometric Screening.

How to Complete the Biometric Screening
  • Go to https://www.webmdhealth.com/countyoforange and click on the “Biometric Screening” card on the portal homepage to select a screening option that works best for you. Your screening results must come from one of the following sources:
  • Submit a completed Health Care Provider Form (Physician Result Form) with results dated between August 21, 2021 and August 19, 2022. Choose this option to qualify for an opportunity drawing – visit the portal for more details.
  • Attend an Onsite Screening event that are being held at over 19 locations throughout the County. Schedule an appointment through the “Biometric Screening” card on the portal homepage. Due to updated COVID-19 protocols from the screening vendor, walk-ins will be limited.
