Plano Pulse: Meet Dr. Cheryl Jackson with Minnie's Food Pantry
They don't call her Dr. Cheryl "Action" Jackson for nothing! Between her role as founder/president of Minnie's Food Pantry and her active involvement in the community, Dr. Jackson seem to always be on the go and making big things happen. Our hosts, Kelle Marsalis (President & CEO) and Katie Gimenez (Director of Marketing and Communications), sat down for a conversation with Dr. Jackson covering the inspiration behind founding Minnie's Food Pantry, how her team puts "boots on the ground" to respond to challenges in our community, and how she gained Oprah (yes, THAT Oprah) as a mentor and supporter.
