Dear ,

The Bridge Fund s recent Pandemic Relief Match Challenge is in the books, and what a success it was! Thank you to all who participated and a special thank you to Vince and Sandy Lovelle, John and Cindy Paul, and Fred and Barbara Sutherland (pictured left to right) for their leadership match donations. Total donations received reached an amazing $300,000!
COVID-19 left local families looking for help in ways they never before contemplated. Our local service agencies, unable to meet the demands on their resources, asked for help and TBF answered the call. Thanks to your generosity, we have been able to help address the unprecedented need for food, shelter, utility payments, transportation and more.

As a result of the enthusiastic response:

  • More than $90,000 has been distributed for food to thousands of people through 11 agencies operating drive-through pantries.
  • Over 380 individuals from 80+ families have received rent or utility assistance.
  • Our partner, Café of Life, was able to increase the number of families receiving weekend take-home meal kits from 55 to 125.
  • Transportation-related assistance for 180 families has been distributed in the form of auto repairs and gas cards.

You have helped bridge the gap for those who need it most. The Executive Director of our partner RCMA wants you to know that “[y] our unfailing support helps [them] adapt...strategies to continue assisting thousands of Florida's most vulnerable families in the midst of the Coronavirus Pandemic.”

Your donations continue to make a significant difference to our neighbors in need. While the coronavirus continues to challenge, it has also created an opportunity for kindness. Many have been lifted up and encouraged by receiving much needed assistance in their struggle. We all have shared in reflecting the best of humanity.
