Classroom Highlight: Pigeon River
By John Gabriel
Pigeon River has been getting back in the habit of school after the long break, and has been absolutely rocking it! The students have been researching various towns and cities in Minnesota to find and report on their origins and population breakdowns. They are doing a fine job of understanding the progression of our state and navigating through its geography and history. They have also been expressing themselves creatively by adding drawings to our Welcome Board each week, showing impressive talent and imagination.

Sick Policy
It's that time of the year again. With flu season among us, many parents question whether their child's symptoms are enough to keep them home from school. If your child exhibits any of these symptoms, they should not attend school in-person regardless of vaccination status:
- Fever (100 or more)
- Muscle pain
- Nausea, diarrhea, or vomiting
- Chills
- Cough
- Runny nose or congestion
- Sore throat
- Headache
- Fatigue
For more information follow this link to view our Sick Policy.
