HEADlines with Brenda
Dear AOWL Families,

I have loved getting to know your students this fall; I am so grateful to be a part of their lives. In a typical year, I would have even more opportunities to get to know your family. I miss the chance meetings in the halls of the school, and I can't wait for the time when we can meet more often in person. While we wait for the moments that we can be together, I put together a short video so that you can get to know me a little bit better. You can watch below.

In future newsletters, I will also answer questions that you might have about me. Fill out the "BrainBombs with Brenda" form, and I will respond. The more creative the question, the more creative the answer!

As a friendly reminder, here are some upcoming dates to keep on your radar:
  • The end of the semester is Jan 15th.
  • High School Grades will be made available via Gradelink on January 22nd.
  • Lower and Middle School WIPPs will be made available to families in March at conferences (March 10, 11, 12)

Thank you, again, for your trust and support during these unprecedented times. It is not lost on me how hard each and every one of you work as we navigate COVID-19 together. I appreciate your commitment, flexibility, and effort.
Annual Fund Update
December 15th was AOWL's Day of Giving, in honor of 17 years since we were founded as a non-profit. A supporter generously donated a matching grant, which means all gifts will be TRIPLED through December 31st, up to $20,000!
