Student Sick Policy - Are you wondering if you should send your child to school? The updated Student Sick Policy incorporates information specific to COVID in with our “regular” sick policy.
Updated quarantine and isolation guidelines - AOWL has adjusted its guidelines for quarantining and isolating to match the CDC recommendations. Since individual circumstances dictate the exact timing for returning to school, the COVID Coordinator will help you work through your student’s timeline. Please visit the CDC website to see the new guidelines.
Free at-home COVID tests! Every household is now able to order 4 free at-home COVID rapid antigen tests. To order tests for your household, please visit COVIDtests.gov
More free at-home COVID tests! Minnesota health insurers are beginning to cover the cost of at-home COVID tests. This article in the Star Tribune contains more information about the new benefit. Please contact your medical insurance company to find out how they are handling reimbursement.

We were so bummed to cancel our Student Reunion Basketball Tip-Off this year, but are excited for a chance to gather outside for a sledding event on February 26th! We are going to meet at Staring Lake Park: 14800 Pioneer Trail, Eden Prairie, MN 55347. We will have hot cocoa set up in the pavilion, which is close by the sledding hill! Please see this Staring Lake Map for meeting location and parking recommendation.

Session 3 Clubs
Adventure Days
- Session 2 Clubs are up and running and we are excited to have a new offering starting soon.

We are partnering with Wilderness Inquiry to offer Adventure Days! Monday Feb 7th, Tuesday March 1st, and Thursday March 3rd. Each day we will have activities connected to outdoor adventures and learning about nature. We will have room for 12 students from Middle and High School, so early registration is key.
- Registration opened on 1/24/22 on Smart Tuition. Scholarships will be available upon request.

Owl's Nest Before and After-School Care Winter Hours

Friday after-school hours will end at 5:00 pm so that we can honor our lease agreement, requiring that we be out of the building by sundown.

- We would like to thank our Enrichment Program Manager, Nicole Andrews, for her valuable services. She has planned three strong Club sessions and already planned summer programming, which was up and ready for enrollment at the end of January. Nicole's last day will be Friday, February 25. We wish her the best on her next adventure.
