The Committee for the Rappahannock River District Builder’s Club has approved our seventh call. This call is for Zion United Methodist Church which is located in Spotsylvania county and serves the Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania areas. The request is for construction involving new footings, foundation, wrap around deck, a/c unit, electrical and installation of a trailer (24’ x 36‘) for use in a food pantry ministry.

I have met with Pastor Barry Blakley and Finance Committee Representative Walter Rawls and reviewed the project and construction. Construction has already been completed.

Financial information
Estimated original cost of Project $    35,000
Cost paid on construction $    20,000
Debt Remaining upon completion     $      6,300

Please see the letter from Pastor Barry Blakley for additional information about this need.

Our Rappahannock River District Builder’s Club currently has 139 members from all over the district who have committed to support fellow churches. You too can help God’s Kingdom grow by joining the Rappahannock River Builder’s Club. It’s easy to join - become a member today by making a donation to this call for Zion UMC’s food ministry. Donations typically range from $10 to $100. But, whatever amount you are able to send would be welcome. The club has no more than 3 calls a year. All donations are tax deductible.

Your support will help Zion UMC to reach more people within the communities served by the food pantry ministry. We are asking that you support this mission by sending a check payable to: “Rappahannock River District" and mailing to Builder's Club, Rappahannock River District, PO BOX 100 Ladysmith, VA 22501 before April 30, 2019

Blessings,

Dave
